Club News: Junior Women's Study Club
Tracie Rathburn, Temple College Student, accepted a scholarship for $500 from Dr. Chuck McCarter, EWCHEC Executive Dean, and Charlotte Herron, Temple College of Taylor Office Manager. The check was presented on behalf of the Junior Women’s Study Club, which awards an annual scholarship to a Temple College student. Students are nominated by instructors and are specifically adult female students who have returned to school to pursue their education, often after starting a family. The Junior Women’s Study Club has awarded a scholarship to a TCAT student every year since 2000. The student who is chosen for the scholarship exhibits the drive and dedication to reach her educational goals and is currently enrolled at Temple College.
